Whilst Rees Electrical offers expertise across many fields of electrical contracting I have worked with John and his company in the specialised field of Sports Lighting. To many, sports lighting is, 'a light on a pole'. In lay terms, yes it is! However, there is a lot more to it than just a light on a pole. Regardless of the size of the project today's sports installation demands a level of expertise that not everyone can offer. Switchboard design, lighting design, obtrusive light compliance, geotech analysis, footing and structural design, high mast tower erection are some of specialised fields facing the sports lighting contractor.

Rees Electrical have worked with me on a range of small to larger scale projects all requiring solutions to the above problems. In every case, the problem is discussed, resolved and installed to the client's satisfaction, often resulting in repeat business from a job well done.

One notable project for Rees Electrical is their recent installation of high mast towers and floodlights for professional AFL competition at Robertson Oval, Wagga Wagga. These types of structures and footings must be handled and installed by experts. The installation was completed without issues, with six 50m towers now standing proud above the Wagga Wagga skyline. Notably, John offered to assist me with the floodlight aiming at Robertson Oval, not a job for the faint hearted, but one that requires expertise, high safety and common sense. Whilst I cannot find fault with the product that Rees Electrical offer there is another reason why I am attracted to their service. Johns willingness to share ideas, listen and assist, even when there is nothing to be gained for John, is an attribute to be admired in the commercial world. A changing market place requires people with expertise and the ability to change with the market. Rees Electrical, in the time I have known them have always adapted to the problem at hand and I look forward to working with them on many more projects."
